In June, I visited the National Museum in Warsaw. As I was visiting Poland, I took the opportunity to look at the historical art of the nation. I learned of the historical art scene in Warsaw. Which predominantly featured the likes of the polish lower classes in the 18th and 19th century. Which I learned represented the polish resistance against the loss of their independence. Placing culture above politics in the artistic zeitgeist. There become a more meaningful shift into idealising the average worker and there lives.
