In June, I visited The Tate Modern. The Tate modern is a free entry museum in the centre of london. The Tate Modern, a contemporary mueseum that displays large scale pieces from some of histories greatest contemporaries. From Duchamp to David Hockney, and Tracy Emin. The ever expanding Tate collection has been one that has fascinated me since I was a little girl. Visiting The Tate Modern general gallery felt like a walk through political history. The gallery itself is a great example of an ever-expanding London art scene. The building itself has historical ties to London, A former powerplant overtaken by Tate Industries. Showing that the art itself is not the only thing that evokes the contemporary nature of 19th century artworks. The Tate has landed itself to the London skyline and has become an integral part of Londons History.
